Why Hop! Trip Assist Plus Plan?

Hop TripAssist Plus a travel assistance membership which provides both medical and travel assistance. Medical Assistance is paid at 80% to the assistance level chosen, after any applicable access expense. An Assistance Level is the maximum benefit payable by the membership, and Access Expense is a non-refundable deposit which must be paid before the membership will begin to provide any assistance. Hop TripAssist Plus provides medical assistance for both out-patient (urgent care, doctor visit, ER), and in-patient (hospitalization, ICU) services for new sickness, accidents, and pre-existing conditions.

Hop TripAssist Plus provides benefits for new sickness, accidents, and pre-existing conditions, up to $150,000 or $300,000 depending on the membership you subscribe to. Stable, chronic pre-existing conditions which worsen during travel are eligible for benefits under the membership. The Assistance level for pre-existing conditions & new sickness or accidents is either $150,000 or $300,000 depending on the membership you subscribe to. Access expenses range from $100 to $5,000 for new sickness or accident, and $500 for pre-existing conditions. Hop TripAssist Plus also has a flat $25 Access expense for Urgent Care visits.

Pre-existing Condition means: an illness, disease, or other condition of the Covered Person that in the 24-month period before the Covered Person's assistance became effective under the Policy: 1- first manifested itself, worsened, became acute, or exhibited symptoms that would have caused a person to seek diagnosis, care, or treatment; or 2- required taking prescribed drugs or medicines or 3- was treated by a Doctor or treatment had been recommended by a Doctor.

Hop! TripAssist Plus is a travel assistance membership which provides travel, medical, legal, and personal assistance for travelers visiting anywhere worldwide outside their home country. This assistance membership provide assistance for eligible travel, medical (including pre-existing conditions), legal, and personal expenses for covered events, as per the terms and conditions listed in the membership subscription. When purchased for at least 60 days, members can access a 30% discount on the cost of the premiums. Hop! TripAssist Plus is a travel assistance membership program, and is not an insurance product.

Hop! TripAssist Plus features Hop! Assist which arranges for direct billing with in-network providers on behalf of members. Hop! Assist provides 24/7 responsive claims, emergency travel and medical assistance from any device, any time, any place. Hop! Assist will process your claim, coordinate with the medical providers around the globe, determine eligibility, and even handle evacuation and repatriation services.

As a member of Hop! Trip Assist Plus, you will also have access to additional Features when traveling to the worldwide including:

  • As a plan member, you will be provided access to Doctor Please!- a telehealth feature which allows members to get medical care from the comfort of their own home. While anywhere worldwide, Doctor Please! allows members to schedule an appointment with a healthcare provider that is credentialed, certified and highly trained, and typically arrange medical care within 1 hour. The doctor will video or audio chat with you and if required, send a prescription to the nearest pharmacy (note that prescriptions may require out of pocket expense if they are not eligible expenses). Doctor Please! can be used for any non life threatening condition. This is not an insurance product and is not insured by Tideview Risk PCC. Doctor Please! only provides access to and helps arrange the telehealth visits.
  • VIP airport assistance is a premium service offered as add-on to travelers that provides personalized, high-end support throughout the airport experience, when requested by the member and organized by INF-Robin Assist. This can include amenities such as fast-track immigration and security, private transportation to and from the plane, exclusive lounge access, and assistance with baggage and check-in. The goal of VIP airport assistance is to make the travel experience as seamless and comfortable as possible, while providing a high level of personal attention and luxury. There may be a fee associated with this service. This is an assistance feature and is not insurance.
  • Airport delays and disruptions can be tiring and frustrating, and travellers rarely have access to immediate ways of reducing the stress caused. SmartDelay is offered to our members as an ideal solution for flight delays.
